Nothing. Jay Mosaic does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information, usage data, device identifiers, or analytics — from children or from the adults who set the app up for them. The app has no user accounts, no sign-up, and no login of any kind.
There is no server behind Jay Mosaic. We don't operate one, so there is nowhere for data to go even if the app tried to send it. All of the app's content — every picture, every pack — ships inside the app itself and is never downloaded or synced.
Jay Mosaic is designed to work fully offline, on a plane, in a car, anywhere without Wi-Fi. A child's progress (which mosaics they've finished) is saved only on their own device, using Apple's standard on-device storage. It never leaves the device, and we have no way to see it.
Jay Mosaic contains no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking software of any kind. We don't use any outside SDKs that collect data on our behalf. What you see in the app is everything the app does — there's no hidden layer reporting back to us or to anyone else.
Jay Mosaic offers one optional, one-time purchase — "Unlock Everything" — that unlocks all picture packs. This purchase is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never receive, see, or store your payment information; Apple handles it under Apple's own privacy practices.
The purchase option only ever appears behind a parental gate — a simple arithmetic question meant to keep it out of a young child's reach. A child using Jay Mosaic never sees a price, a padlock, or anything resembling a store.
Jay Mosaic is built for children ages 5 and under. Because we collect no personal information from anyone, there's nothing for a child to enter, share, or accidentally expose — there are no text fields, no chat, no photos, no camera or microphone access, and no way to connect with other people through the app at all.
If this policy ever changes, the update will appear on this same page with a new effective date above. Given that the app collects nothing, we don't expect that to happen often.
